Getting a Job is not the same as before…

My old way of doing things was to interview with a bunch of different Temporary Agencies and whoever gave me the best job quickest, won. This gave me a job quickly and an opportunity to get paid weekly and soon.

Now, the Agencies that are out there, process things differently. Firstly, I will NOT give you my Social Security number upfront, BEFORE any job opportunities are offered. In this day of scams, I am very wary of someone using my information to steal my identity. 2ndly, Many want you to look up jobs available on their Websites before you come to them. No longer is it, that THEY match you up after reviewing your skills & after taking their skill assessment tests.

My old way of thinking MUST change. Problem is, I have sadly gotten stuck in a rut. I need to brainstorm with others; however, my knowledgeable list of people who think creatively out of the Box (so-to-speak) is limited. How did my list shrink so much?

I must also be humble and less prideful. And be open to new options/opportunities. And to stay hopeful. The right “job” is out there… I just need to keep turning over stones.
